Dresden, January 24, 2025

Hello and welcome to my brief introduction. I’m Mirko Hallauer, born in 1969 with 3 children, 3 lives, 3 professions.

3 lives? What does that mean? I grew up in a country that ceased to exist in 1989, which also put an end to the sheltered, yet very restricted and controlled life in the wild East. After secondary school (POS) and a traditional apprenticeship in the metal industry as well as military service in the former GDR, everything changed after 1989.

The East German metal industry was at rock bottom so new avenues had to be explored. With my experience in the catering industry and direct sales for a renowned automobile club, I moved into financial sales in 1992. I started as a financing specialist for a large building and loan association, later became an insurance broker and finally started a position in the development and sales of company pension concepts for employees and company managers. I gained a lot of helpful experience in the HR departments of my clients for 25 years. An immense number of encounters with entrepreneurs and employees gave me a deep insight into the minds of many top performers in the economy.

In 2014, financial sales and the stress it came with as well as physical exhaustion took its toll. After a health-related low point, I realized that nothing is as constant as change.

Life number 3 began. After a brief interlude in structural sales, the decision was finally made in 2016 to turn my back on the world of finance. Continuing education and the HR department of a Zwickau-based training provider then led to a move into HR. As HR manager and head of HR at a chain of medical centers, I was able to put my training and experience in the industry, services and management sectors at the service of great doctors and the health of their patients every day until the end of 2023. Thank you very much! Unfortunately, this path ended in 2023, but led me back to recruiting and the corporate structures of the Wackler Group Munich. Combining digital processes and recruiting procedures with well-known network resources and analog “direct recruiting” and “active sourcing” significantly expanded my wealth of experience.

Now that you’ve read the compact version of over 30 years of professional development, let’s move on to the present. Personnel issues and especially recruiting in a very special day and age are challenges that I am happy to take on. Working with people has been my thing my entire professional life. My current environment offers the opportunity to inspire, create and shape. I am firmly convinced that “enthusiasm” is a significant key to success in attracting and retaining employees.

I would like to invite you to experience this with me. “Can’t” … doesn’t exist. There is always a way. Every vacancy can be filled, just as every person can find job that is right for them. It requires the right framework, a little patience and, above all, the belief in a good result. If these lines have piqued your interest, we should get in touch. My name stands for successful recruiting. Especially, because it’s different.

“Life rocks, rock’n roll”
Sincerely … Mirko
